Where it started
I kept seeing short-form "ball knowledge" games online: channels like @sidelinebros, @ballgametrivia, and @thedeep3 all creating engagement through ragebaiting fans, fun moments, and gamified forms of ball knowledge competitions.
Every guy has a friend group where sports are the default language. I started thinking that it would be really fun to play some kind of ball knowledge or ball humor game with my sports friends.
Existing formats
The content was already proving the behaviour: sports knowledge becomes more engaging when friends can argue, guess, and react together.

Finding the problem
Instagram and Youtube proved that sports trivia could earn attention, but I knew that this didn't necessarily make a game worth playing with friends.
I studied some viral social games like Fall Guys, Among Us, Mario Party, as well as sports-prompt communities like YKB to understand what turns a game into something people return to.

The rules should be clear in seconds: no tutorial, account setup, or encyclopedic sports knowledge required.

Worth replaying
A good round creates new arguments, new matchups, and different answers.

The best games give you a unique platform to engage with your friends in ways that you wouldn't be able to otherwise.
Product direction
The missing experience for myself and others is a social ritual for sports fans: a platform quick enough to start between friends, structured enough to create competition, and open-ended enough to keep the conversation going constantly.
